I struggled over the weekend and gave back a few units. Today, I previewed three matches, two taking place this evening, one of which I felt obliged to write a few lines about ( that is below), the other is for later in the week, a fixture where the odds available this morning are highly unlikely to last the day !

Only Europa League for me today, three brief previews, however, we have plenty to get through tomorrow and I will have the normal Friday Ligue 2 previews at 10.00 UK time and a follow up at 16.00 with J League and any other Friday news.

I put up two previews on the website yesterday, Watford were denied by a 93rd minute equaliser, Angers did things the other way around and "eased" home with two very late goals !
That is gambling, all you need to know about the highs and lows wrapped up into a couple of minutes of excitement, agony and ecstasy in equal measures !

Championship: Watford- Burnley
The goals have flowed in League 1 this season with an average of 3.21 per game, which is up 0.55 goals on the same stage last season, a big increase. The last nine rounds in 2010-11 saw a 0.71 increase, to 3.37 per game and something similar over the closing weeks this time round, will take us close to four per match. Those stats are only a starting point, but if the matches meet our other criteria, this is a good league for us to be looking at for goals, with the usual proviso, that the lines are in our favour.
If Mexico had beaten Jamaica on Matchday 1 of the final CONCACAF qualifying stage, I would have been "all over" Honduras here getting a handicap start, as it is, I have had to scale things down slightly as the visitors would like to host the USA on Tuesday with four points to their name, but I am still content to take the hosts with the draw on our side. Honduras did us a big favour back in October when we were firmly in their camp for the visit of Canada.....
