Easter Bank Holiday Monday saw the end of 12 months of clubgowi newsletters, actual red type "official" selections saw a ROI of 113.17% from over 1,100 selections, full results are below.
They are very good returns of course, but actual results are much better. Until December 31st we were operating a two tier system, also offering black type "suggestions", these performed very well , but were not included. From Janaury 1st , there have only been red type selections,.
Further, we have a number of outstanding and good long term positions which are also not included, so the actual returns for the 12 months to April 1st are closer to 116%. That it not overly important IMO, 108% is good, 113%-116% is incredible, especially over a sample this big.
Regardless of which, I still feel the biggest value of the newsletter is the content and not the bottom line and that by reading the notes in full each day, you will get even more than the ROI from the emails.
This has been a weird 12 months, I have bet virtually full time, for almost all of my adult life, but have never seen a year quite like this one. Normally you have a good month or two and then a bad period for a few weeks, it is a little like a rollercoaster, you always know you will end the year ahead at the top of the ride, but you will have peaks and troughs along the way.
This time I had an unprecedented first 6-7 months, with hardly a losing week posted, followed by a poor 3-4 month period and then an incredibly strong month. Rather than the roller coaster, it was more like scaling Everest and then slipping half way down the mountain, before starting back up!
Anway, over the last 12 months I have previewed over 1,200 events/matches, put up 1,102 red type selections, staking 1,410.25 units, which have returned 1,595.97 units, for a profit of 185.72 units, a ROI of 113.17%.
95% of selections have been on asian handicap lines, so the easiest bets to place in gambling.
£25 unit stake on each would have won you £4,643
60 euros stake would have seen you win over 11,000 euros.
$200 would have made over $37,000 .
But actual returns would/ could/ should have been much better .
I am not a great one for statistics. I know that if someone tells me that they have a ROI of 120% over say 250 bets, a few things are true, one, that they are almost certainly not betting asian lines, which means it is somewhere between difficult to impossible for anyone to bet/ get on. Two, that they are unlikely to keep up that strike rate regardless of where they are betting and even if they do for a time, they will certainly not want to "waste" time writing previews when they are winning anyway. They will go back to writing previews when the money runs out !
I have averaged a ROI of 117% on free to view content over a seven year period, only a few hundred bets there in the last 2-3 years, but incredibly good returns and still all available to read. I do not mind publishing those results openly as all content has been viewed freely before kickoff. They are the best results over such a period like that you will ever see....... but the free to view content is rubbish compared to the newsletter !
The newsletter is only seen by subscribers, it is never going to be proofed anyway because I do not want another 20 people seeing the content for free, which often happens with those services, also, they are never comparing like for like. Show me a service that is as detailed/ comprehensive as mine and we can compare them !
I can read one, maybe two previews and tell if someone has anything original to say and you should be able to similarly read the Scunthorpe United-Leyton Orient (LINK) or Chateauroux-Angers preview (LINK) and know that they are unlike and superior to anything you will see elsewhere on the internet.
I am writing previews of circa 25 such matces/events every week. My best two months in each of the last three years have been June/July, so anyone taking up a six month subscription is going to get maximum value for money. With coverage of the end of the European season, all our main Summer action, where we follow MLS, Brazil and J-League especially and then the build up and early months of the 2013-14 European season.
