Palmeiras- Ceará
Palmeiras guaranteed third, Ceará could earn a Copa Libertadores spot with all three points.
Fluminense- Chapecoense
Win will ensure Copa Libertadores football for Flu, Chapecoense have been relegated for many weeks.
Santos- Cuiabá
Santos need a lot of additional help, but could still reach top 8 and have nothing to lose.Cuiaba will be safe and ensure Copa Sudamericana football with one point. If they lost it would need wins for both Bahia and Juventude to relegate them.
Gremio- Atletico Mineiro
Gremio needs to win and hope that Juventude and Bahia both lose to survive. Champions CAM play their Copa do Brasil final over two legs in the next six days, first game on Saturday.
Juventude- Corinthians
Juventude needs to better Bahia's result to survive. Corinthians are guaranteed CL group stage football and are only playing for 4th or 5th place.
Sport Recife- Atlético Paranaense
Sport are relegated, but in decent form finally . CAP are safe, are in the CL group stage and play their Copa do Brasil final first leg on Saturday, against champions CAM.
Bragantino- Internacional
Bragantino are guaranteed Copa Libertadores, but a win would ensure they went straight to the group stage ( a slip up from Flu would also secure it). Inter could still reach top 8 but would need a LOT of results , some at big odds to go their way.
America- Sao Paulo
Three points will ensure Copa Libertadores football for America. SP need to win and five other teams to lose to reach the top 8 and that seems unlikely in the extreme.
Fortaleza - Bahia
Fortaleza already have CL group stage football to look forward to. Bahia will ensure survival with a win, or by Gremio dropping points and Juventude losing.
Atletico Goianiense- Flamengo
A-GO needs to win and hope that RBB (lose) or either Flu or America drop points to finish top 8. Flamengo are guaranteed second place.
A lot of teams will have one eye on results elsewhere and there should be some good "in play" bets , but that is a little too complicated. I like three teams for whom the motivation is a little clearer and seems concrete or unlikely to change. The rest of these notes are for subscribers only.
