Busy week !
Please note the early sending times on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and double send outs on Wednesday and Sunday.
I have listed everything taking place within our leagues and sports, which includes double rounds in both Brazil and Japan. Not sure what I will do with regard to MLS, as we have only covered the MIB final since the restart, so going to play that by ear. Ligue 2 starts Saturday which is unusual, as almost all of you know that is one of our main and most popular leagues, but probably a soft start for both that and Ligue 1, which is standard for any league.
WTA starts this week with qualifying for the Western & Southern Open on Thursday/Friday ,with the first round played over Saturday/Sunday, then a round per day from Monday until Friday (final). This is usually the Cincinnati Open, this time it will be held in New York at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center , the same venue as for the US Open which will follow immediately after. High class field for the W&S with 17 of the top 25 in the world entered, we are unlikely to get involved before the weekend and even then it will depend on how much else we are covering Saturday/Sunday. Regardless of which, there are likely to be tennis notes each day from Monday until the final.
The PGA event will be The Northern Trust which is the first of three Playoff series events which are always exciting and a fun format, the top 125 in the FedEx Cup standings will qualify and play this week. Only the top 70 after The Northern Trust will advance to the second event, which is the BMW Championship. Then the top 30 after the BMW will make the Tour Championship finale and play for the really big bucks !
Good luck !
