Snooze fest at Elland Road, followed by a five goal thriller at the Emirates, which is where the Bees head on their next away day (Feb 11) . Brentford do not play again until they host Southampton on February 4th, whereas Saints play THREE games in the intervening 12 days! They host Blackpool in the FA Cup on Saturday and play Newcastle United home and away in the League Cup semi final tomorrow and next Tuesday , when they travel to SJP, a round trip of over 1,000 km, although I assume they will fly. Saints have only won one major trophy in their history and that was 47 years ago, so whilst survival has to be their priority, the two games with United have to be viewed as huge.  Anyway, a big advantage for Brentford, who look like they need a rest, despite being unbeaten in eight EPL games.
