Ahead of tomorrow's games, below is the league table in order, figures alongside each team are attempts from inside the box, minus those given up, so Lorient have created 39 , allowed 42, therefore -3.

 

Seven games is not much, but only Orleans in the real bottom half of the table have a + ITB diffence and only at +1 so that looks a true reflection on those 10, so, therefore, why should there not be at least some credence in the numbers at the other end ?

 

 

 

 

 

Amongst last weeks Ligue 2 notes were ...............

 

Lorient...........top scorer Hamel 19, Claude-Maurice 14 // consecutive seasons in L2 =2 , last in L1 = 16/17 // budget last and this season 12m/ 25m  // L2 points last season: first 19 games =31, second 19 games = 32

 

 

 

 

 

Ajaccio.......Top scorer last season Nouri 6 // consecutive seasons in L2 =5 , last in L1 =13/14 // budget last and this season 10.5m /  // L2 points last season: first 19 games =21, second 19 games = 19

 

 

 

 

 

Step up in quality of opponent for Nancy but they are on the up , look a different team from early season and buoyed by a fine 4-0 win at Sochaux last Friday ahead of which my notes included ...........
