Brentford have a solid record against the Big 6, including City and their six EPL games against the champions, who are looking for a 5th straight title and 7th in eight seasons, have seen them win twice and lose two by a single goal and never by more than two. Since the game before the Bees won 2-1 here at the Etihad which was in 2022-23 , they have played 33 away EPL games and only once lost by more than two goals , scoring in 21 (63.64%) , 2+ in 15 (45.45%) . If we treat both sets of "conceding" numbers on merit, Brentford are somewhere between 1.42 and 1.57 to score today and are priced at circa 1.83. Given that they do nor respect reputations or play scared and have already scored 5 goals (it should have been 6+ ) and have the pace to trouble anyone on the counter and that City should have conceded in all three starts. That and /or the handicap option (+2 goals at circa even money) have to offer value today.
