The visitors are on fire and they have won their last four scoring 13 goals and are up to 4th, one place and point adrift of Leverkusen. Hoffenheim have not just been winning, but putting in some super performances in that sequence, witness a 2-0 win over RB Leipzig where they were 8-0 on target, 21-3 ITB, 4-0 BC's and also hit the woodwork twice, scoring six on the road at Furth where they had 11 attempts on target, 18 ITB and 5 BC's, scoring three against Frankfurt and winning 2-1 away to highflying Freiburg last Saturday (giving them an extra 24 hours recovery over Leverkusen).  The home side are coming off a 5-2 loss in Frankfurt and they are probably a little weary heading towards the Christmas break, this will be their 10th start inside 46 days ( a lot for a Bundesliga side) and just the 6th for TSG in the same period. Hoffenheim were not good on the road last season which was a little surprising and if we exclude 20/21 since 2018-19 they are 17-14-11 away from home, scoring 84 goals, that is an average of 1.55 points and exactly 2.0 goals per away start. They have a 2-2-1 record on their last five trips to the Bay Arena where they have also scored 10 goals, sticking to that two pg mean and they should go well today. The hosts will be without suspended right back Jeremie Frimpong , in addition to his defensive duties he has a goal and four assists and that will have got the attention of Kramaric and Raum who play on that flank for Hoffenheim and who have 12 assists between them.
